The Summit-Waller Community Association (SWCA) is a voluntary, non-profit group made up of citizens residing in this unique community.  The SWCA holds annual public meetings to elect the governing Board, which takes an active role in maintaining the rural nature of the area.  Other Board activities include:

• Working with neighboring community associations
• Working with the Summit-Waller Citizen's Advisory Commission
• Sponsoring regular roadside cleanups
• Addressing community safety issues
• Generating general interest in the unique qualities of the community
